We're in great walkable neighborhoods - perfectly close to hospitals (great for medical travelers and travel nurses), with easy access to highway 75 and I-29 if you're coming to work at CF, Seaboard, or Tyson.

We want you to feel and BE safe in your furnished apartment. We know each neighborhood like the back of our hand and we'll tell you everything you need to know so you can feel right at home with us.

+ What is an Apart•Hotel?

SOMNI is an Apart Hotel....full-size, fully furnished apartments with the flexibility of an extended stay hotel.

Nope, not hotel 'rooms'. Just real, full-size furnished apartments in awesome apartment communities. Don’t know how long you’ll be in town? No worries! We have just a 30 day minimum stay requirement, and you can extend as you need to.

+ What's included in my stay?

Each furnished apartment has a fully equipped, full-size kitchen and full-size appliances, fresh crisp white linens for bed, a huge TV in the living room (and a properly sized one for the bedroom), you’ll be able to live comfortably with SOMNI. Between guests, each apartment is inventoried top to bottom to make sure each apartment is properly stocked and squeaky clean for each new guest.

+ Tell me about the fully equipped kitchen, how great is it?

Travelers choose us because they want to cook in a real kitchen, and they want to keep fresh groceries so they don't have to eat out all the time.

With SOMNI, you'll find a complete kitchen set up for you: coffee pot, toaster, measuring cups, plus, all the ‘wares’ - dishware, glassware, cookware, bakeware (just in case you want to make cookies or a cake while you’re here!)

Here’s a fun fact: our kitchens have over 276 items. . . and we make sure you have every item in place when you move in. You never know when you’ll need a bottle opener, or a cheese grater. We’re ready. (Let us know if you’d like a crock pot, or a larger stock pot. . . we have extras just in case!)

+ What should I pack and bring with me? How 'fully furnished' is my apartment really?

Honestly, just bring your luggage. We have guests arrive with a carful of items and find they really don’t need it. If you want to bring your favorite pillow of course you are more than welcome! But all of our linens are professionally laundered and sparkling clean. We have extra pillows on your bed when you arrive. Once you get settled in and think you might want an extra something, let us know - if we have it, you're welcome to it!

+ Are utilities, and cable and internet included?

You bet! The utilities are already set up and in place, and DEDICATED wireless internet (up to 100 mbps, sometimes 150+) to each apartment. Your internet is not shared, like it is at the local extended stay hotel. Your internet is yours and yours alone. All of our furished apartments have large TVs (usually 50” smart TVs+ in the living room). All of our Glen Oaks and Barrington Park apartments have expanded digital cable + HBO.

+ Are there any awesome amenities?

Heck yeah there are! No matter what location you stay (Sioux City, Spirit lake, Sioux Falls, or Omaha), you’ll have free access to the community amenities as your specific location. . . 24-hour fitness room access, pool, etc!

+ What happens if I get laid off or transferred out?

THIS IS IMPORTANT, we've got your back. You can book with confidence with SOMNI. We have the easiest, ULTRA flexible rental terms for furnished apartments in the industry!

Worried that you'll be transferred out suddenly? No sweat, SOMNI has the industry shortest notice to vacate terms - just 15 days notice to vacate. So don't worry if you can't stay long.

+ What does SOMNI's competition offer?

'Typical furnished apartments' (you know who you are) require 3 to 6 month FIXED lease minimum stay, application fee, big upfront refundable security deposit, management fee %, application process and background check, credit check, etc. IF you're approved — you then have to set up your own utilities and internet/cable, and THEN at LEAST a 30-60 day notice to vacate requirement (this is critical information for people that need to leave when the job transfers them to another job site).
